The Auxiliary Medical Service (AMS), an auxiliary force under the Security Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, provides invaluable supplementary medical services for the people of Hong Kong in times of emergency as well as supplementary volunteer medical services to government departments and outside agencies during peace time. With its present establishment of a volunteer membership of 4931, AMS stands ready to provide such services anytime and anywhere in the territory.
