About CIE

Established in 2018, CIE is dedicated to nurturing aspiring young entrepreneurs and fostering innovation talent within the HSUHK community. We empower young people by promoting entrepreneurial spirit, innovative thinking, and creativity.

 

Programme Details

The GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme is funded under the“HYAB Funding Scheme for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” by the Youth Development Fund of the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission. This three-year programme aims to nurture promising young entrepreneurs. It will select 13 outstanding teams to provide up to HKD 360,000 in seed funding and comprehensive entrepreneurial support, helping the youth aged 18 to 39 seize opportunities in GBA. One of the key activities under the programme is the “START-UP ESSENTIALS WORKSHOP SERIES 101” taught by industry professionals. This workshop provides foundational entrepreneurial knowledge and practical sharing for aspiring young entrepreneurs. We warmly welcome students from Hong Kong Shue Yan University to participate and expand their entrepreneurial horizons and networks.

To foster entrepreneurial exchange and collaboration between, CIE will host a “Venture Mixer: Cross-Campus Connect” on September 26, 2025 (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM) at The Creative (15/F, M+ Building, West Kowloon Cultural District). The event aims to provide a platform for students to exchange ideas, find potential partners, and form teams to participate in the “GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme.”
