With the support of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is going to launch the second edition of “2024/25 Arts Talents Internship Matching Programme” (The Programme) in early July. It aims to nurture and provide 18-month internship opportunities for talented graduates from tertiary institutions to enter the industry in their initial years. Targeted at various art forms and different positions within the industry, the Programme matches eligible graduates with arts organisations through a continuous mechanism, allowing them to gain experience through on-the-job training.
The Programme comprises “Internship Scheme for Arts Administrators” and “Internship Scheme for Artistic (music/dance/drama/xiqu) and Production Personnel (stage arts/design/production/management)”, offering 30 and 50 places respectively. The Programme is open for permanent residents of the HKSAR who are at least 18-year-old and have graduated from higher education institutions within the past 3 academic years. HKADC will match the applicants’ preferences with arts organisations/ groups while arts organisations/groups will conduct screenings and interviews.
Programme details and job vacancies will be published on HKADC website and will be open for application from 3 July 2024 onwards.
