Part-time Student Assistants

The BAT office, Department of Counselling and Psychology is currently recruiting Part-time Student Assistants to provide operational support for program operation. The student assistants are expected to commence employment in November 2024. For further details about the Department and the BAT program, please visit this link.

 

Under the supervision of the Program administrative staff, student assistants are responsible for providing support in the following areas:

  • Performing counter duties during course registration
  • Supporting in-class activities
  • Handling user enquiries from the course participants about campus facilitates
  • Providing administrative and clerical support
  • Designing publicity materials such as leaflets and posters
  • Supporting online/face-to-face events
  • Videos production/ Editing
  • Performing other duties related to the section

 

Requirements:

  • Be punctual and reliability
  • Be conscientious of the work duties
  • Have self-discipline
  • Maintain a positive working attitude towards servicing the university community and enjoy working in a team
  • Ability to prioritize between work and studies and be willing to dedicate at least 10 hours per week, to work for the division
  • Possess a good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office. Knowledge of graphic design software like Canva and Photoshop would be a definite advantage
  • Preference will be given to undergraduate students in years 3

 

The compensation for the positions will be based on the hourly rate of HK$55 offered by the BAT Office.
