The 18-month Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBA YES) encourages and supports young talents to pursue their careers across the Greater Bay Area. Hang Seng Bank is honorable to join hands with the Government of the Hong Kong SAR to offer 18-month full-time opportunities for Hong Kong residents aged between 18 to 29 who have sub-degree level or above from a recognised local or overseas higher education institution with range of regional exposures at Hang Seng Bank’s strategic locations in the Greater Bay Area.

 

We are currently seeking a high-calibre individual to join our team for the following functions:

    • Transformation & Management

Programme Structure

  • Duration: 18-month full-time employment, with joining date on or before 31 December 2025
  • Work location: Hong Kong, with a minimum of 12 months in GBA cities such as Shenzhen and Guangzhou

Development Offering

  • As a GBA Associate, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in understanding Hang Seng Bank’s client propositions and the range of product and service offerings available across our retail banking business in GBA. Your role will involve providing assistance to GBA-related projects by conducting business analysis and executing GBA-related strategies and initiatives. You might be considered for permanent position or employment extension if you are performing well during this programme.

Requirements

  • Be a Hong Kong resident aged between 18 to 29 who is lawfully employable in Hong Kong
  • Hold a sub-degree or above, of any study discipline, awarded by a Hong Kong or an overseas higher education institution
  • Able to communicate effectively, embrace change and overcome challenges, while maintaining a positive attitude under challenging situations, and open-minded to working with people from diverse cultures
  • Able to bring divergent ideas to create new and innovative solutions
  • Strong desire to learn and able to work in agile environment
  • Advocate of openness, teamwork and integrity
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • Good knowledge of business software such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint as well as Chinese Word Processing
