Operation Zhang Qian 張騫計劃 2024

Maritime Silk Road Society has received support of internship places from 9 organizations at the moment and more may join in the near future. We decided to start to invite applications from undergrads for more than 30 internship places of “Operation Zhang Qian – Undergraduate Summer Internship Programme 2024” today. Your institution is one of the participating institutions and your assistance is sought to promote the programme to students of your institution. Meanwhile, as we will update the internship opening from time to time, please check our website for latest updates of the programme.

We offer:

Around 40 internship opportunities from 10 organizations
Locations include Greece (Athens), Thailand (Phuket), Malaysia, the mainland (Guangxi, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shantou, Shenzhen, Wuhu, Yunan, Zhongshan)
Round-trip ticket, accommodation, insurance and visa fee are covered by organizations or MSRS
Per-diem allowance is provided (as applicable)
Duration from 2 – 8 weeks

Requirement from students:

Undergraduate
Permanent resident of HKSAR
Join MSRS as student members (one off membership fee of $100)
Shortlisted students to be recommended to organizations have to pay a refundable deposit of $3000
Have to pay for all logistic cost first and MSRS will reimburse all fee after internship finished
