Below documents are password-protected and limited to the viewing of HKSYU staff members and students. To access, please use the same set of login ID and password of Moodle/university email account.
Remarks
For successful application on 12 months Placement Student Programme, defer of studies may be needed. Formal application has to be submitted to Registry for consideration and final decision is subject to Registrar of HKSYU.

All applications should be submitted to the online portal, late submission will not be considered.
Target Participants
The placement opportunities are open to university students –
- who are pursuing IT-related* Bachelor’s degree programmes in sandwich mode which require the students to undergo industrial training for approximately one year in the 2025-26 academic year, or
- pursuing IT-related Bachelor’s degree programmes (but not in sandwich mode) and who would like to apply for one-year leave of absence in the 2025-26 academic year.
- Applicants must be Hong Kong permanent residents and must have completed their second or third year of study before the placement commences. Fresh graduates and summer interns will NOT be considered in this Scheme.
*Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Data Science Programme and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media Design and Immersive Technology Programme meets the requirement of IT-related Bachelor’s degree programme for the 2025-26 Local Placement Scheme
