Details of EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2025-2026
Event Overview
Young Tax Professional of the Year (YTPY) is an international competition designed to reward and foster the next generation of tax leaders. The competition gives participants the opportunity to share experiences with people from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
The first phase of the competition takes place in Hong Kong. The Top 2 Hong Kong winners will be invited to join Greater China final in July/August 2025. Country winners will then be invited to participate in the international final. They will be challenged with case studies and interviews by our experienced judges. If you are in the top 10, you will compete in the second phase of the global competition which is an in-person final event.
Event Timeline and Application
- Application period: Now – 9 May 2025
- Physical local competition: 20 June 2025
- Target students: Undergraduate (year three or four), postgraduate or Masters student
Step 1: Application via EYHK Platform
Step 2: Request Nomination from HKSYU (Optional)
Internal Application Deadline: 29 April 2025 (Tue)
After you have submitted the application through EYHK platform, you may submit the followings items to the online portal if you wish to be nominated by the Career Services Section of Office of Student Affairs.
