The CEO Talk, organised by the Trade Ambassador Programme of Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Each year, we line up seasoned corporate leaders to share inspirational experiences and valuable insights with our Trade Ambassadors, aiming to provide inspiration for your future careers.
This year, HKTDC is honoured to have Mr Edmund Chan, Co-founder of Meat the Next, to share his entrepreneurial journey. Graduated from CUHK Executive MBA with 15 years food industry experience, Mr Chan has received over 25 awards for young entrepreneurship and ESG achievements, e.g. the Hong Kong Spirit Award, Hong Kong 10 Outstanding Youth Entrepreneurs Selection and CARS SDG hub scheme. His company, Meat the Next, is a Hong Kong-based superfood technology company dedicated to developing delicious and nutritionally balanced new protein products using sustainable ingredients. The aim is to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change by changing dietary habits. Details are as follow:
