HYAB – United Nations Volunteer Internship Programme (Batch 10)
With a view to furthering youth volunteerism, the Programme funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) has been launched by Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) since 2015, with support from Hong Kong Volunteers Association and Peace and Development Foundation. It allows local university undergraduates to participate in a 6-month volunteer assignment under the UN University Volunteer modality serving under UN field units or agencies in oversea.
After completion of the UNV oversea volunteer assignment, the volunteer formed the “United Nations Volunteers – Hong Kong Universities Volunteers Alumni Network“，a unit under AVS, to help promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong.

- Nomination quota for the University: 15 undergraduates
- For successful application on 6-month intern, defer of studies maybe needed. Formal application has to be submitted to Registry for consideration and final decision is subject to Registrar of HKSYU.
