Call for Applications: M+ Young Collective Volunteer Programme (2026)
M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Learning is at the heart of M+. Central to our work is a focus on youth participation and engagement. Since 2015, M+ has been engaging young people through programmes such as M+ Young Collective, Young People Summer Camp, Young People Meet-Up and Young People Summer Takeover.
M+ is now recruiting students and recent graduates from universities and community colleges as members of 2026 M+ Young Collective volunteer programme. This programme engages curious, passionate, and dedicated young volunteers who come together to explore how M+, as a space for display and social participation, can connect the museum’s exhibitions and collections with the daily life experience of young people and their thoughts. M+ Educators will work with young people to challenge preconceived ideas, bring creativity to life, and exchange thoughts. Members of Young Collective alongside Educators work to develop, plan, and deliver a series of public programmes responding to the programme’s annual theme and M+ exhibition content, and to share their findings.
