Customs YES Summer Internship Programme 2026 (Phase 2)
Custom YES Summer Internship Programme 2026 (Phase 2) is now open for application.
In Phase 2 recruitment, companies / organizations of C&ED counterparts will offer internship placements from various industries. Interns will be employed directly by companies / organizations. The internship salary will be provided by companies / organizations. Companies / organizations will determine the employment terms and conditions with reference to current market situation, nature of internship and statutory requirements.
Eligible members meeting the entry requirements of their preferred placements will be invited for an online preliminary interview by Customs YES Secretariat. Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview with the recruiting companies / organizations between May and June 2026.

Application Methods: | Applicants who are currently studying in local post-secondary institutions should submit the completed application form with Annex – Priority list, together with all supporting documents listed below through the Student Affairs Offices/Career Centres of their respective institutions and observe the deadline set by the respective institutions. 1. Detailed personal resume; and 2. A copy of proof of student status; and 3. A copy of academic qualification certificate(s); and 4. A copy of public examination certificate(s); and 5. A copy of official academic transcript(s). |
Job Descriptions & Qualifications: | Youth aged 18 or above are qualified to apply. Please read the job descriptions to understand specific requirements of individual positions. |
Remarks: | 1. Applicants should indicate the vacancies applied in priorities in Annex “Priority List”, with the first priority by “1”, the second one by “2” and so on. Applicants should indicate at least one option with the maximum no. of options up to five. 2. Applications which are incomplete, or late, or not made in the prescribed form, or not duly signed will NOT be considered. |

If you would like to be nominated by Career Services Section, please submit your application on or before 19 April 2026 (Sunday). All applications should be submitted to the online portal, late submission will not be considered for nomination.
Tips!
Watch the video before you submit your application
- Make sure you are eligible to apply before you start your application. Read the job description(s) carefully.
(i.e. any requirement on the year of study? specific major/skills required?) - Attach all relevant documents as requested.
(e.g. photocopies of academic transcript, HKDSE results, personal statements etc.) - Mention as many relevant experience and skills as possible.
(i.e. extra-curricular activities, computer skills, scholarships, work experience, volunteer services) - Perform spell/grammar check before submission. It is recommended to type your application on computer for easy editing.
- Check all pages of the form to avoid missing information. Sign in all the space(s) that require your signature.
- Follow the format as suggested in each section of the form. For example, in the “Education” column, usually you have to fill in:
09/20XX to 07/20XX “September/Admission year” to “July/Expected Graduation Year” “九月/入學年份” 至 七月/畢業年份”) - Complete the form in EITHER Chinese or English for consistency.
- Pay attention to the internal deadlines set by HKSYU on Career Services Website. Late applications will not be accepted.
