BOCHK Challenge 2026
The “BOCHK Challenge” has been held for 10 consecutive years. It continuously provides a platform for students from universities and startups to showcase their talents on technology and ignite innovative ideas, while bringing new momentum into the field of technological innovation.
Bank of China (Hong Kong) has been committed to building a comprehensive digital banking, actively developing financial technology, and moving towards whole-scene intelligent digitalization to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency of the bank.
The competition is divided into student and startup streams, focusing on generative AI, blockchain, big data and quantum computing as technologies themes. It integrates five designated scenario themes to drive innovation in fintech applications.
They are inviting current full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students from Hong Kong universities to form teams, think boldly, and develop real-world FinTech solutions. The fintech proposal must combine:
- At least one technology theme: Gen AI | Blockchain | Big Data | Quantum Computing
- At least one impactful scene: Payment | Inclusive Finance | Risk Management | ESG | Cross-border
