Imaginations Design Hong Kong Competition 2027

Building on the magic of our 20th anniversary, we are excited to begin a new chapter — one filled with fresh ideas, bold creativity, and endless possibilities, as the Imagination Hong Kong Design Competition returns, reimagined and re‑energized, to inspire your students to dream bigger, think differently, and express their creativity in bold and imaginative ways. 

The competition is open to students who: 

• Are currently enrolled in eligible institutions or disciplines 

• Are aged 18 or above 

• Have a passion for creativity, design, and storytelling 

2027 Project Challenge: 

With the recent increase of space travel, there are now new opportunities for visitors from beyond our planet to learn about Earth. 

Select a mythical realm or legendary place, one that exists in mythology or collective imagination, and develop an experience that introduces it — its landscapes, stories, and values — to these visitors, for a better understanding of our planet’s cultural heritage and diversity. 

Selected winners will have the opportunity to intern at Hong Kong Disneyland, working alongside Disney Imagineers and gaining valuable real‑world experience.
